FL Rush Wraps a Successful Month of February

   
 
Just in this past month of February, FL Rush Soccer Club saw a massive amount of success on the field.  Recently on the Region Cup scene, we saw 9 out of 10 teams pushing through to the Challenge Round.  This past weekend, two of those teams pushed to the Final Round of Region Cup.  

The U15 Swoosh Boys, led by Coach Jim Preusser, went unbeaten in the 1^st round.  Coach Jim said, “Every player on the team contributed to our success during Region Cup.  The team continued to get stronger as the tournament progressed.  I am very proud of these boys and their accomplishments over the weekend.  We look forward to the Final Four round.”  

 
FL Rush U12 Swoosh Boys, led by Coach Hugo, also pushed to the final round.  Coach Hugo said. “We are all very proud of the boys and grateful of the awesome performance they are putting in this tournament.  The boys have come a long way and we are seeing the fruit of their hard work.”  Good job to both teams and coach.  Best of luck to both teams in the Final Round of Region Cup.


We also would like to congratulate the U15 Nike Boys, led by Coach Marcos Machado, for finishing 1^st in the FYSA State Premier League (FSPL).  They wrapped up the month by beating, in a score of 3-2, the #2 team in the Nation.  It was a thrilling and decisive game, where the winner would finish on top of the league.  Coach Marcos said, “Our boys definitely showed great class, composure, effort, and teamwork.  In the end, we were the better team and deserved in every aspect to win the league.  I am extremely proud of their achievement and can’t wait to start our next challenge.”
