FLORIDA RUSH SOCCER EXPANDING IN LAKE COUNTY
Florida Rush Soccer and Lake County Soccer Announce New Partnership
CLERMONT, FL — Florida Rush Soccer is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with Lake County Soccer Club, creating more pathways for players to succeed in the sport throughout Lake County.
With the new partnership, Florida Rush Soccer is excited to expand its top-level player pathway and coaching education throughout the Lake County community. Regardless of age or skill level, this new partnership will provide more opportunities for all our players, coaches, and families.
“We’re excited to partner with Lake County Soccer and continue growing the sport in our community,” Florida Rush Executive Director Richie Gray said. “As a Lake County resident myself, my heart is truly invested in growing youth soccer in our community and providing exceptional customer service to our families. Working together will enhance our existing programming in the area, plus it will give players and coaches a chance to take their game to a much higher level.”
Lake County soccer teams will continue to operate at its current field locations including the Mike Stone Soccer Complex at Hickory Point, Tavares, Fla., and the East Lake Sports & Community Complex, Sorrento, Fla. The coaching staff and teams will remain intact with additional training opportunities, exposure to a variety of competitive leagues, collaborative coaching education and referee development as a result of the partnership with Florida Rush.
“Lake County Soccer Club has had a well established program for many years made up of extremely dedicated volunteers, '' said Kathy Stone. “Moving forward and joining forces with Florida Rush will continue to provide the various levels of soccer the children of Lake County deserve.”

With this new partnership, Florida Rush Soccer will be providing top level youth soccer programming to 2800+ families across three counties and five cities including Winter Garden, Clermont, Kissimmee, Tavares and Sorrento, Florida.

Lake County Soccer Club was founded nearly 25 years ago and became a non-profit organization in 2008. The club was built on the hard work of parents and coaches who volunteer their time and efforts. The club’s mission is to provide each player the opportunity to play the beautiful game of soccer in a positive, supportive and rewarding environment.
